Farm Diary 2010

14thMay 2010

Lambing went a treat and calving has sailed by as well. All cows out in the clear but frosty fields.

Still haven't put the polytunnel doors back on their hinges(gale force winds are not polytunnel friendly!)

Bluebells are out, primroses as well. .Still getting visited by the mink! We are losing chickens almost every night.Trying to catch the blighter but they seem to know when you are onto them!If push comes to shove, we will have to move the remaining chucks out of the field.I do remember that we had trouble there about six years ago?

Remember, please phone in or email any orders for Saturday market to avoid disappointment.

See you soon Grant
